22” cube and 17” raised planter
Purchased both of these and am trying to assemble with the “brushed” side facing out, not the wood grain finish. This is advertised as an option to have either side. That said the only way I can figure to do this would involve flipping the aluminum rail inserts around to make the groove on the inside. Flipping these would make the pre drilled screw holes not line up in the center of the side rails as well as eliminate the pre drilled holes at the bottom that secure the sides and bottom support, as these holes would now be on the outside. Is this the way this is intended? In order to have the brushed side face out I need to drill new holes in the aluminum side rail center and bottom? There is nothing in the instructions for this and want to make sure I am not overlooking a more obvious solution to this. Any instructions or video to construct with the brushed side out? Thanks!
Floor boards not staying in place
Loved assembly with the floor boards not staying in place. Seems to need cross bars to hold in place. Any suggestions?
Floor boards makes no sense
The set up was easy until it came to the floor boards. The directions are useless and I have no idea how to put the floor in. I tried the V idea but that hasn't worked for me either
Floor Boards Installation
Like others, I cannot understand how to install the floor boards. I am totally at a loss. Would you send me the email you have sent to others? Perhaps you could post the floor board instructions somewhere where others can see since there seems to be a lot of buyers having the same problem. So far the container looks good. Only criticism (other than the floor boards) is I wish I could have used the flat grey on the inside of the panels rather than the "wood" look.
Great product. Directions for assembly need some clarity. Easy to install until the bottom panels. I have no idea how to put them in. The directions do not make sense.
The last page is tough!!
Nice planters Received these last week and put them together last night. The side construction went fine, I put on the bottom braces but the bottom panel instructions do not make sense. Are they just supposed to we wedged into the bottom of the cube? The bottom panels do not interlock into one another so basically they are going to look like a "V" instead of lying flat? Do you have a video?
Question Winter
Can the URBANA 22" Cube Planters be left outdoors during the winter season (lots of snow with temperatures dipping to -20 deg F) ?
Nice planters
They were very easy to assemble. We lined them with a thin amount of insulation to help perennials last through the winter….hope it works. They look great across the back of our patio….and….with the cost of wood nowadays, so much more economical than constructing from wood.
